1. Mobile-friendly
With 1 MB scratchpad, AEON works well on mobile devices alongside regular laptops and desktops.
2. Proof of unusual work
AEON's light weight PoW (CryptoNote-Lite) makes it possible to perform block chain authentication faster.
3. Block chain pruning to change size
By pruning, the block chain can be kept small and it will not exceed the device's limited storage capacity. This feature also improves anonymity by reducing attacks (age-based attacks).
4. High speed synchronization
Compared to the currency forked from Bitcoin, CryptoNote coins are particularly certified and have more isolated blocks. AEON solves this problem by setting the block time to 4 minutes and quadrupling the synchronization. Combined with our lighter weight PoW, it is possible to improve the synchronization time of low-end devices more than 10 times.
5. Optional lightweight transfer
Payment as a CryptoNote coin is still anonymous by default. However, unlike Monero, AEON allows traceable transfers. These are faster, less expensive options for payments that are not sensitive, such as exchange between exchanges.
AEON aims to be a lightweight Monero just like Litecoin aims for lightweight Bitcoin.
